Jim Feist is a handicapper selling his picks like many other tipsters and handicappers. However we did want to dedicate a page for him because we noticed a few little differences between him and all the rest of the guys.
A normal American handicapper is one trying to sell picks on TV or over the Internet. He speaks loud and sounds cocky, as if there is no alternative to himself. Well, his main goal is to sell picks, to maximize revenue, so he has to act like a sales person. We personally don’t suggest to pay for picks but if you feel like you want to do that then by all means choose the most reliable handicapper you can. In our view Jim is quite reliable although he would never guarantee you 100% winnings. No one can, so please keep that in mind, and always make your own judgment as well and don’t solely rely on a pick!
Why Jim Feist The Handicapper is different?
The answer lies with the history of the world, with the way the world works and operates. It’s quite simple.
“I Have Learned Why People Work So Hard To Succeed: It Is Because They Envy The Things Their Neighbors Have. But It Is Useless. It Is Like Chasing The Wind….It Is Better To Have Only A Little, With Peace Of Mind, Than Be Busy All The Time With Both Hands, Trying To Catch The Wind”Ecclesiastes
What King Solomon says in the book of Ecclesiastes possess a very powerful message. Many businessmen and especially handicappers whose job is to convince you to buy a pick from them. In a way they are making you chasing rainbows. However, if you take people towards the end of their lives (and god forbid we’re not saying Jim is about to die tomorrow) – but Jim is quite an old person. He was born in the 1940s so he’s over 70 years of age now. He has been dealing with sports betting from 1972, so at the time of writing (Nov 2020) that is almost 48 years of experience.
If you watch Jim on Television you can see a completely changed person now, he is not into pushing things, he talks very calmly and he sounds like someone who has already seen too much in life, so you can definitely learn a lot from his experience. Please note his website as of now (Dec 2020) is still active. You can buy picks directly there but you can also look for discounts at tons of other sites e.g. SportsCapping.com.
Can I rely on Jim’s picks?
Firstly you should read our advice regarding buying picks. Secondly, as we mentioned above, we cannot advise if his picks are going to win or lose. It’s very difficult to say, but he does have a nice record overall. So if you want to subscribe to Jim and follow him in the long run then go for it. We feel like he is a genuine person and he is not into doing what he might have done 20-30 years ago.
You won’t hear his name too much now. In America Bruce Willis is an old star. What you see in 2020 would be different in 2030, but we do have and show some appreciation towards people with experience, so overall – our conclusion and main suggestion is to rely on yourself when you make a guess which team would win or how many points would be scored etc. and secondly – if you choose a handicapper – take someone genuine, someone who has no interest but to simply provide you with his absolute view of the game, and this could help you make a better guess/prediction hopefully.
